Wallaces Hut is found just outside of falls creek. On this day just getting to the hut was quite a feat and I was lucky I had a great 4WD (Jeep Wrangler). When I finally got to the hut I set up my camera gear and I had to wait for my camera to climatise to the cold as I had fogged up the glass.

Once I had exposed a roll of film I had to remove my snow gloves to change it with a new one. As soon as I removed my gloves the sudden shock of the cold make my hands go bright red and once I put them back on the hands started to sting as they re heated.

Snow shooting is fun especially if someone else is there as you can peg a snow ball at them to pass the time. But you have to dress warm.
