An amazing coastline of sandstone stacks
The Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road is one of the most popular tourist attractions along the Victorian coastline. I had never seen the Apostles before and I was glad that the first time was as a photographer. I spent two weeks in the area staying at the YHA Backpackers in Port Campbell.
Everyday I got up and shot in and around the area, making the most of the light and time I had there. Nearby in the Otway Ranges there are a group of amazing waterfalls one of which is Hopetoun Falls and the shot I got from there is one of my personal favorites.
In the space of two weeks I was met with all types of weather, the band Crowded House describes Victoria's weather the best in their song "Four Seasons in one day"
Happy Shooting

If you ever visit the Great Ocean Road area be sure to turn off and check out the Otway Ranges on your way their or on the way back, you wont be disappointed. The walkway to Hopetoun Falls is the smallest and most rewarding.
The walk to falls like Beauchamp Falls is quite long but again very rewarding.
The above shot is one of three in a sequence that I took on this day each just as nice and vibrant. Be sure to check out my main gallery for more great photos of this area.
